NOTA writes "Red Zone". The reason is inflammation of the nevus.

In this article, we will look at the common causes of inflammation of moles and answer the question: "what to do?"
Moles are poorly protected from external stimuli. With inflammation, the "entrance gate" opens for infection to enter the nevus. Itching, soreness, swelling, the appearance of redness, peeling – symptoms of the resulting inflammation.

An interesting fact: small-sized moles often do not pose a danger and the risk of their transformation into malignant formations is minimal. Malignancy of giant nevi reaches 50%.

There are many factors that provoke inflammation, and for convenience, we will divide them into three categories:

Various injuries.
Careful implementation of hygiene procedures;
Hard washcloth;
Mole rubbing on tight/rough clothing,
Insect bites;
Using body scrubs;
Massage;
Shaving cuts;
Depilation;
Random scratches.
Most of all, the nevi located on the neck, chest, back, and abdomen are damaged.

Prolonged exposure to UV radiation (sun or solarium).
Under its influence, an inflammation of the mole can occur, and a person will consider the symptoms that appear to be a manifestation of sunburn. The redness associated with sunburn will affect not only the nevus, but will also spread to the entire part of the body that has been exposed to prolonged aggressive UV rays.

Most often, nevi on the hands, feet or on open areas of the body suffer.

Hormonal changes.
The appearance of inflammation may be associated with a rearrangement of the hormonal balance in the body during pregnancy or taking synthesized hormonal drugs.

In all these cases, our device will signal you that the mole is suspicious. If this is really an inflammation, then measuring the mole after a while (provided that the irritant factor is eliminated) NOTA will show that the mole is healthy. If this does not happen, we strongly recommend you to contact a dermatologist.
